Start with the farm, not the schedule
Most insurance conversations start with a product list. BoerSeker starts with how you farm: grain, livestock, mixed, intensive or extensive. Farming type decides which parts of the farm are critical — and where a single incident can hit the whole season.
Location, weather and the yard
The same harvester on two farms is not the same risk. Location, access, fuel storage, security and how the yard is organised change the picture. That is why a farm visit is part of how we read — not an afterthought.
People, movement and downtime
Risk does not only sit in buildings and machines. Workers, visitors, vehicles between farm and town, and what happens when operations stop, belong in the same conversation as fire and theft.
Understand first, then structure
Only when the farm is clear as a system — property, machinery, livestock, crops, water, fleet — does a policy structure make sense. Otherwise you risk gaps between schedules.
